JH PE
Focus: JH Softball. Girls PE. JH Track

Major Grade: Dress out and work with the team to win.
​Computer Applications
Focus: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Prezi. Google Docs.
Makeup: Daily demos followed by exercises. Walk-through the software together and then try your new skills out on a business document.
Major Grade: Unit production tests. Comprehensive project creating a class vacation proposal to the school board.
​Business Law
Focus: Personal and Business Law
Makeup: A lot of lecture and discussion over topics. Such as assault, manslaughter, contract law, and negligence.

Major Grade: Mostly tests and a few projects to check comprehension.
​Accounting
Focus: The accounting cycle.​​
Makeup: Most classes involve a short lecture followed by demonstration. Often people are intimidated by accounting but if you can add and subtract you'll do great!

Major Grade: Tests and a final that involves completing the accounting cycle for a Putting Green Golf Supplier who is 3 months behind on his books.
​Business Exploratory (7th Grade)
Focus: Typing form and speed. Basic computer application skills. Career exploratory.​​
Makeup: Typing along with software. Creating business documents. Researching careers into an online journal.

Grading: Daily grades based on performance of typing and projects.
​Business Technology
Focus: Microsoft Office Suite. Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. Career Preparation.
Makeup: Hands on projects creating business documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and databases.
Major Grade: Comprehensive production projects at the end of each semester.

*Dual credit. *Business Tech II weighted.
​Personal Finance
Focus: Making Money. Obtaining Employment. Saving and Investing Money. Money Management.
Makeup: Discussion and hands on projects. Creating a budget, calculating loan payments, and planning for financial goals.
Major Grade: Comprehensive personal financial plan. Looking at your future income, safety net, and plans for purchasing major life items.

​Entrepreneurship
Focus: Start up process of a business. Basic Business Operations. Marketing Tactics. Legality Issues. Store Site Location and Layout. Creating a Business Plan to Receive Investments.
Makeup: Notes, tests, and projects.
Major Grade: End of the semester business plan. Create a business plan for a new venture of your choice that you would like to pursue.
​Mulitmedia
Focus: Combining video, text, images via Photoshop, Movie Maker, Adobe Captivate, iMovie.​
Makeup: Mostly working within time constraints to create multimedia productions.
Major Grades: Locker Signs. Audio Mix. Tiger Commercial. Motivational Movie. School Logo. Basketball Posters. Tutorial Walk-Through.​
​Web Design
Focus: Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash, and Dreamweaver
Makeup: We'll do most of our learning through hands on projects that slowly build up until we've built entire websites from scratch.
Major Grade: To build and compete with fellow students to have the winning website design for an actual client.
